There is much more about the studio - apart from the original productions, (such as Snow White and the Seventeen Dwarfs), the studio was used as a cultural center for La Jolla, offering presentations by leading dancers and performers of all kinds.

To accommodate her students' need for well fitting pointe shoes, Jade opened the first ballerina boutique shop in San Diego, which in a few years grew to be six stores in major shopping centers in San Diego county.

It was at this time that she worked with Ben Sommers, president of Capezio Danceware, to establish the very first national dance alliance, and National Dance Week.

After fifteen success-filled years, Jade sold the studio and the stores as she and her husband wanted to travel. That is when they discovered Sedona.

They have a home in West Sedona, a magical creekhouse in the canyon, and had a condo in La Jolla, California. Jade spent most of her time in Sedona; her husband would commute.

Since being in Sedona Jade has done several performances at SAC - Christmas Carols in mime for Redrock Fantasy at Los Abrigados - choreographed the "Littlest Angel"- taught dance classes at SAC and Red Rock High - presented sacred dance programs for several Sedona places of worship - summer solace - concerts with harpist Ani Williams - guest artist for Cross Cultural Tibetan Dance Festival.

She also graced the opening of SAC's 'Black and White Line Drawings' by dancing with large pieces of black and white silk, a chair, and Eric Satie's music. It was lovely and well received.

When she is not moving she is writing. Many of her 'words' have been published, some of which are, "The Gift", a story of a little bear's love affair with life - "Footprints in the Mud"," Revelings of a Wonder-Filled Mind"- "Stray Threads", along with articles for the Red Rock News entertainment section.

Currently she is working with the art and cultural program, "Artist in the Classroom", teaching dance to younger children, and offering history of dance workshops to more advanced grades. Recently Jade worked with the humanities classes at Red Rock High School's project 'History of the Roaring Twenties', and taught over 400 students not only the Charleston but the history of the dance, costumes, make up and style - it was great. She is also teaching classes in stage movement for singers and actors, and, is working on her CD, "Words", and a very funny bio called "Me".
